Control intake: Salt, sugar or oil may be added during processing of ready-to-eat dried mushrooms, which will increase the caloric and sodium content accordingly. It is recommended to consume a small handful (about 20-30 grams) at a time to avoid overdose.
Drink plenty of water: Dried mushrooms are highly absorbent. Remember to drink plenty of water after eating, otherwise a large amount of dry fiber may cause bloating or discomfort.
Note for special groups: People who are allergic to fungi should avoid eating it; people with poor kidney function who need to limit potassium should carefully control their consumption, because the potassium content of dried mushrooms is relatively concentrated.
