Traditional Chinese medicine believes that mushrooms belong to the liver, stomach and lung meridians. They have the effects of strengthening the spleen, appetizing, calming the liver and refreshing the mind. They can be used to treat indigestion, anorexia, insufficient milk, hypertension, fatigue and insomnia. Mushrooms have relatively high nutritional value and are rich in nutrients such as vitamins, amino acids, proteins, cellulose, vitamins and various minerals. Moderate consumption of some mushrooms can effectively improve immunity and increase appetite. However, patients with gastrointestinal problems and liver and kidney failure should eat less mushrooms.
